Designing Women Interiors was formed in early 2005 by the principal, Kelly Banks and has consistently grown with satisfied clientele throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. With a design studio and warehouse strategically located in the East Bay, Designing Women Interiors is able to store furnishings to stage your home or act as receiver for your newest home furnishing acquisition.

After many successful years in the corporate arena, Kelly Banks decided to take her love of design and her vast business management experience to become the driving force behind Designing Women Interiors. The ultimate goal of Kelly and her company is to create harmonious, balanced, and functional living environments for every client, whether residential or commercial.

An important benefit of working with Designing Women Interiors is that our primary focus is to identify your needs and develop a design concept that fits your lifestyle, budget, and most of all, your expectations. We stand behind our work, and regularly ask our clients to provide feedback on our services. We at Designing Women Interiors have one goal; to help you achieve the look and feel that will create harmony, balance, and function in your home, office, and life. All of our clients are working harder these days and we strive to give you a place on earth where you are comfortable and can truly relax, escaping the daily challenges of life. We take a personal approach by meeting with prospective clients for an initial one-hour consultation. During this time we profile the client to identify which design style (from classic to contemporary) best reflects your home and lifestyle. We become familiar with the architectural details in your home and how a design theme will enhance those details. We ask questions that help us determine how your lifestyle, hobbies, family and friends will all blend comfortably within a proposed design plan.

Designing Women Interiors believes in giving back to the community, we are active in a number of volunteer organizations like the Children’s Support League of the East Bay, Junior League, and other local community based organizations.
