That is the inspiration behind Designing Women Interiors, where we believe that when you love what you do, itıs not really work but a release of the creative you. Consequently, the Designing Women Interiors was created in 2005 by two former bankers who decided that their love for design and creating warm and inviting spaces were even more rewarding than helping their banking clients finance home projects.

After many successful years in the corporate arena, Kelly Banks and former associate Marie Whitehill became the driving force behind Designing Women Interiors where their ultimate goal is to create harmonious, balanced, and functional living environments. Since the business has taken off, Marie has retired, but continues to support the firm when called upon.

The principal of Designing Women Interiors has coordinated and staged numerous events for large corporate groups, weddings, and special occasions, as well as small intimate affairs. The design and staging profession now enjoys their commitment to quality results and customer service.

Therefore, we strive to give you a place on earth where you are comfortable and can truly relax and escape the daily challenges in life. We take a personal approach by meeting with prospective clients for an initial one-hour consultation. During this time we profile the client to identify which design style (from classic to contemporary) best reflects your home and lifestyle. We become familiar with the architectural details in your home and how a design theme will enhance those details. We ask questions that help us determine how your lifestyle, hobbies, family and friends will all blend comfortably within a proposed design plan.

We always take your budget into consideration and many times recommend that we start with a "redesign" of rooms within a home to see if the existing furnishings and accessories can be rearranged to provide a fresh look that can show immediate transformations and be a little more economical. If you wish to change the design style even more after a "redesign", additional pieces can be added. We are also happy to provide recommendations for color palettes, fabrics, furniture, lighting, and accessories. We will even shop for the client. We have successfully worked with owners of new homes where our interior design services involved working with contractors, as well as selecting materials including flooring, windows, appliances, lighting, and more.
